No Access To AWS Billing Console as IAM Users: Solution

I started playing with AWS around 8 months ago, and recently I found that I lost acess to my billing console as an IAM user.

After checking my access on this IAM account, Yes, I do have attached billing acess to it.

The solution to this problem is to grant access to IAM users through root account:

First open up your account detail page:

Find “IAM User and Role Access to Billing Information” here and what you need to do is simply tick the box to grant access.

Now go back to your IAM account, you will have your billing console ready there : )
